Meeting Clyde Butcher

Last month, I attended an exhibition and signing at the Coral Springs Museum of Art, where I met one of my nature photography idols, Clyde Butcher and saw his “Preserving Eden” exhibition! Clyde is an amazing black and white fine art photographer who specializes in capturing the most beautiful places in this country on film, particularly those here in Florida. He is very passionate about the Everglades and about public awareness of the environment.

I’ve been a huge admirer of his work for many, MANY years, and he is an inspiration to me when it comes to nature and landscape photos. I was thrilled to meet him and purchase his work, Florida Portfolio II, which I had signed.

I also had my photo taken with him as well!
