Zachary’s Pre-K Graduation, the end of Preschool 2013-14

On Monday, we were so proud to celebrate our adorable Zachary and his Pre-K graduation.

It was an emotional day for Zachary, knowing that he had learned everything he needed to know before moving up to Kindergarten in the fall, and that he would be leaving the friends and teachers that he’d been with over the past few years. The graduation ceremony was lovely. The kids sang several songs, including “Happy” and “Let it Go,” and we were so delighted to see Zachary belting out the lyrics along with his classmates. It was the cutest thing and a proud mommy moment when all of the teachers stopped me later on to tell me how proud they were of his performance!

Adrian and I were thrilled that we could have my parents, my grandma, and my best friend, Amy (Zachary’s godmother) at his graduation ceremony. It was a special day for everyone.

Here are a few pictures from graduation:

Happy graduation, little Z!

My mom took this shot of us taking a #selfie with Z! So cute!
Z loves taking selfies – my mom caught this one of Adrian and me taking a selfie with Zachary.

Finally, here are some pictures of my boys on their first and last day of preschool so you can compare. I think they both look older and more mature in the second picture, for sure! It was a special milestone for William, too, having completed his first year of school.

  1. Oh my goodness, look at how much they’ve grown! Both of them! I love the graduation pictures too – such a fun way to celebrate the end of preschool and the beginning of kindergarten. How adorable are 5 year olds in caps and gowns?
