My son Zachary has had a very busy and accomplished summer so far. Not only did he graduate from Pre-Kindergarten at the beginning of June, he also just started taking Martial Arts (Jeet Kune Do) and earned his white belt in his first group class. We are so proud of him and his successes. When I leaned about this #CollectiveBias #KidsCards shop to promote Walmart’s selection of Hallmark Kids Poster Cards, a new product, I immediately wanted to take part so that I could promote one of my favorite brands while doing something fun for my son. Buying one of Hallmark’s new kids cards is a great idea to show some extra special love, recognition, & encouragement for all of the awesome things that Zachary has been doing!
Hallmark Poster Cards are a great new value card product that can be purchased at Walmart. They start off looking like a normal card, but they “pop” open into a poster! This is super convenient for mailing so you can send a card to any fabulous kid in your life. It is a great, fun experience for a child to receive a special card just for them, and kids love the fact that the cards get bigger!
I picked out a card and some goodies for Zachary at my local Coral Springs Walmart. Here’s the Hallmark card aisle. As you can see, it is a bunch of boxes. The Poster Cards are such a new product that they had not yet been shelved! Thank you to the Hallmark Rep, Stella, for digging through several boxes in order to find the *perfect* card for my son!
Here are some of the things that I purchased to make the whole experience special: the card, of course — which is an AWESOME Darth Vader card that I knew Zachary would love, a pair of Angry Birds Star Wars swim trunks (much needed for summer), candy, and a Marvel Heroes sticker book, since he’s loving the whole Super Hero thing right now and thinks stickers are awesome. We love to give our sweet children lots of hugs and kisses and high fives to encourage them, but special gifts are always a great surprise and a lot of fun both for them and for us.
Finally, here’s the final product before I presented it to my little guy! I already had this shiny gold bag and the tissue paper at home, and I was able to fit all of his goodies perfectly inside!
Zachary absolutely loved the card and goodies! Here he is opening it up! Check out his reaction as he realizes that the card opens into a poster. How adorable!
If you buy lots of greeting cards, which I do, you should look into joining the Hallmark Card Rewards Program, which rewards shoppers for purchasing Hallmark cards and can be collected anywhere, but especially at Walmart, where you’ll earn a reward for every 5 cards you buy. Click here to sign up.
This shoppertunity was a fun experience, and I enjoyed being able to combine my love for spoiling my son with working for brands that I enjoy!
