Wordless Wednesday: Tamarac Turkey Trot

I hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving weekend and have been enjoying the past week of Hanukkah!

On Thanksgiving morning, we ran the Tamarac Turkey Trot 5K as a family, with both boys strapped into the jogging stroller. It was super cold — 54 degrees (yes, that’s cold for us Floridians!!) — and it was awesome to run through the streets of our town on such a beautiful morning!

We beat our previous time by about a minute. I’m so glad that we incorporated the Tamarac Turkey Trot into our Thanksgiving 2013 celebration! We are so proud to be a few of the 1500+ finishers from this fun race.

Here are a few photos from our morning:

Our route this morning. Our time was around 47:30. The paper got cut off for the time print outs so I'm not 100% sure, but that's around what it was. Faster than our first race back in Sept! #5k #running #tamarac #turkeytrot #thanksgiving
