Save the planet & clean your pet’s messes with Simple Green! Review & Giveaway!

Happy Earth Day Giveaway of Simple Green Pet Stain and Odor Remover! This Giveaway ends on April 22nd – Earth Day!

My dog, Maya, has an embarrassing confession to make. She pees a lot – when she’s excited, upset, or just plain annoyed! Sometimes, when Zachary gets a little too happy to see her and squeezes her too hard, she leaks. What this means is that we have a number of randomly placed “spots” on the carpet in our house.

We’ve tried a number of super strength cleaners that all advertise their powers of cleaning up even the worst dog messes. None of them, however, compare to the powers of Simple Green’s Oxy Dog Stain and Odor Remover! Simple Green’s cleaning products are my favorite since they are Earth-friendly and they smell nice too. The pet stain product doesn’t actually smell like very much at all, but I’d much prefer that over all of the other products under our sink, which make the house stink to high heaven every time we’ve used them to clean up a dog mess!

There are a couple of older spots in our bedroom and a few in Zachary’s room that have been particularly bothering me. I just couldn’t stand looking at them! Getting your carpets professionally cleaned is time consuming and expensive, but Simple Green’s pet cleaner and an old rag saved me lots of time and money.

It took only a few minutes between spraying and scrubbing with the towel and the stains simply disappeared. I was absolutely amazed. To be honest, I didn’t expect the stains to disappear completely, so I was shocked that the product worked so well. Simple Green’s Pet Stain and Odor Remover is by far the best Pet Stain product I’ve ever tried!

If you have a pet, I wholeheartedly recommend Simple Green’s pet products! They have an awesome dog stain remover which I’ve already discussed, as well as a cat stain and odor remover. Best off, since it’s made by Simple Green, you know it’s non-toxic, VOC-compliant, non-hazardous, biodegradable, and non-flammable – so you know it’s actually safe for your pet (or kids) to be around. Simple Green rocks!!

In fact, they rock so much they are going to give one of my readers their own Simple Green Pet Stain & Odor Remover!!!

  1. I have 2 cats that are roughly 5-6 years old. Sometimes they have accidents on the floor and with 2 children under the age of 2 we need the spots cleaned up!

  2. oops: mandatory entry – i have two cats – stuart and rocky. often, rocky will get locked in a room b/c he’s hiding so quietly under a bed and then has no choice but to leave treats on the carpet. poor baby 🙁 stuart, I BELIEVE is too big for his litter box and sometimes goes outside the litter box which leaves a lovely aroma in the house. wouldn’t want bella to get into that!

  3. I need this because my dang dog (a Pomeranian mix) will stand at the door to go out, but if you don’t notice him he won’t scratch or whine but just goes off and pees someplace in the house!

  4. I have one small dog and three cats (one of which has 6 lbs. on the 10-lb. dog)- need I say more? THe dog hates to go out in the rain and is not really reliable on the pee pads anymore.

  5. You say friend – I say friends. We have 7 rescue cats indoors. Patches, Cole, Tiggy, Boots, Shorty, Boo and Peewee. They’re all spayed/neutered but when one of the roving outdoor cats sprays the outside of a door, they’ll spray indoors.

  6. I follow karenlisa on twitter (schiermitchy). Man I could certainly use some pet stain remover. They say you can never 100% house train a dachshund. Plus we dog sat two beagles that peed on every corner and baseboard in our house. It drove me mad!

  7. I have a dog and a cat-they are usually pretty good-but every once in a while they have an accident.

  8. I rescued a pup from a rescue shelter and he is still trying to get the hang of roaming free. He was caged 20hrs a day at the shelter. I do not cage him. He is starting to get the hang of telling me when he needs to go out besides the usual times. Needless to say my floor is paying the price.

  9. my furry friend samantha is a lab, she’s very good but she’s in the house for up to 12 hours a day and sometimes she gets sick so i would love to have this to clean up her messes.

  10. i have 4 rescue furry friends-Mitzy the dog, and cats-Angel Rose, Norman Ray and Toby Trouble. I need this to clean up after them

  11. I’ve got a witchy little chihuahua who shows her displeasure by peeing in the back room. I’ve got a super fuzzy black cat who graces us with lovely hairballs and a 55lb lab/boxer mix who thanked us for taking in a stray like her by puking all over the place her second week with us.
