This has been a long week. I didn’t get as much done as I wanted since I was catching up from a week off with Spring Break being last week, but I did what I could. I’m looking forward to a nice weekend, seeing family visiting from out of town, and hopefully doing a fun family activity.
This week’s Friday inspiration is a great quote from Elizabeth Taylor about fulfilling your goals. I was saddened to hear of her passing this week. She was influential in so many ways, from acting to activism, and was one of the most beautiful and successful movie stars in the world. She did so many amazing things in her lifetime. I heard someone on TV the other day say she was truly the last of the great classic actresses.
Elizabeth had the kind of rare beauty that was admired rather than envied. She was an engaging spirit and her acting abilities reached deep into the human experience. She had a great capacity for humanity and for that quality we wish her well on her journey to peace and tranquility.
