Now that Zachary is in preschool, everything he owns has to be labeled! This has been kind of frustrating because guess what? Permanent marker is NOT that permanent! I find myself labeling and relabeling his sippy cups every other day. The marker just wipes off or washes off in the dishwasher. And try figuring out how to label a blanket or towel – there is no place to write on an already dark colored label.
Well, when Lovable Labels contacted me to do a review, I was just thrilled! This is a product I desperately needed, so I was very excited to learn all about them and try them out! Right now they have special Holiday Packs, which include all the different kinds of labels you could ever need (including hang tags!) in different colors, and I was sent the brightly colored Holly Jolly Gift Pack to try out!
Their tag line is, “Don’t lose it, label it- with Lovable Labels” and it’s so true! Their labels can really be used on any surface for any reason at all. Their labels are well designed and durable, and will last a long time even on frequently handled items. I’ve never used this type of label before, and was actually surprised at how strong and well made they are.
The colors are very saturated and bright, and the little illustrations are very cute. Zachary loves the Thomas the Train series right now, so I chose a train for his label, and immediately labeled all of his sippy cups. They’ve been through the dishwasher a couple of times already, and they still look brand new! I can’t say the same for the so-called permanent marker which you can barely see on the bottom of the cups!
Having items labeled is so nice, especially at school, because Zachary’s things are no longer stuck in the wrong cubby because someone couldn’t read the faded writing. And I love how many different types of labels they have. The regular sticker labels are great for bigger sippy cups, and I use the slimlines for the smaller cups. The mini-metal tags are great for attaching to a lunch bag or backpack (great when every boy in the class has the exact same Cars lunchbox or Buzz backpack – LOL!), and the shoe labels and clothing dots are a fantastic and useful addition as well!
It’s also worth checking out their Fun Stickies, too, which offer cute shaped stickers with your child’s name on it – I just love the train and the dinosaur!
