Buddy Fruits Pure Blended Fruit – Review & Giveaway

I’m always looking for delicious and natural food for my 18 month old son. He’s at the age now where kids become more picky about foods, so it’s important to me to find things that he enjoys that are also good for him. I enjoy taking him out frequently, so I love food that is portable, not messy, and easy to feed him.

Enter Buddy Fruits, a yummy blend of applesauce with cinnamon, strawberry, banana, and multifruit. Unlike their competitors, Buddy Fruits are sold in regular grocery stores — no more driving to the baby store for just one thing! Also, this all-natural product is only about a dollar per pouch at my Publix grocery store! Awesome!

Buddy Fruits and their parent company, «Ouh..làlà! c’est bon!!!» pledge that their product is 100% natural with NO additives and that one serving of Buddy Fruits counts as one of the recommending servings of fruit that your child needs each day. They state on their website that, “Our mission is to expose children to great eating habits.” It makes me happy to find an all-natural snack that my family can enjoy often knowing that it’s healthy for us — plus it won’t break the bank!

Best of all, my little boy loves eating Buddy Fruits! I brought some pouches with me on our recent road trip up to Tennessee to make feeding him easier, and they pretty much saved my life while driving 15 hours up to visit our family! I highly, HIGHLY recommend using Buddy Fruits this summer when you take your kids on a road trip — or pretty much anywhere!

The pouches are small enough that my son can feed himself, but they still hold plenty of food for a good snack, at 3.2oz. Zachary loves all of the varieties we’ve tried so far, but I think his favorite is the apple cinnamon. Yum! I think it’s my favorite too. 🙂 The flavors are so good, and the consistency of the applesauce is very smooth. I love that I can pop a few in my purse and we’re good to go when we leave the house for an outing.

I find Buddy Fruits here in South Florida at Publix grocery stores, but you can find out where else they’re sold by clicking here.

Sooo…. you want to know what you’re going to win?

  1. Yummy…a great snack idea to take to the movies too. Now that’s what I call self-service. Thanks for the great suggestion!!

  2. MY MANDATORY ENTRY: The founders are French and the husband was a chef and wife was a banker> They left their jobs in France to bring pouches to the USA.

  3. I learned the founders were on a road trip on Route 66 (from France!) when they realized the U.S. needed more fruit pouches on the market.
