Over the weekend, my best friend Amy and I got together at my parents house to start preparing for my baby shower. We are doing a game where each guests write down a different piece of motherly advice.

I thought it would be neat to mount each piece of advice on cardstock so that I could punch a hole in each card afterwards and keep it as a keepsake to put in my baby’s memory book. My mom had lots of blue and yellow cardstock, and after cutting each card with pinking shears, we mounted them to the cardstock and added a decorative sticker. It was a fun activity and reminded me of when Amy and I were little and would do do crafty things together.

I am really glad that my dad remembered to take such great photos, because I was so engrossed in the work that I completely forgot!! These photos will be so wonderful to put in my scrapbook.

I think the cards came out so cute, and we had a lot of fun making them. I look forward to them all being filled out… I hope the baby (or at least his future wife… lol) enjoys looking at them someday!
